The Boston Red Sox alumni will be playing in Westbrook this weekend.

While the 2004 World Series champions will be in Philadelphia to take on the Phillies this weekend, the Boston Red Sox alumni will be in town to take on the Westbrook Firefighters Valentine Hose Co. No. 2 All-Stars in a charity softball game.

Residents are invited to come out to Frazier Field this Saturday at noon to watch the former major leaguers battle the firefighters with proceeds from the game benefiting the Valentine Hose Company.

Admission is $10, and since seating at the field is limited, residents are urged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
