The Tate House Museum has announced opening for the 2005 summer season.

The Tate House Museum in the heart of historic Stroudwater Village of Portland, Maine, will open to the public for its 2005 summer season today, June 15. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday and from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Colonial garden tours will be available on Wednesdays only. Architectural tours will be available on Tuesdays only.

In celebration of the 250th anniversary of Tate House Museum, special ongoing exhibits include “18th Century Costumes of Maine” and “250 Years in the House that Tate Built.”
