At a recent postal recognition ceremony, Raymond resident Stanley Banas received a 30-year pin from Portland Postmaster Mike Fortunato. On behalf of the District of Maine, Fortunato thanked Banas at the Rand Road Letter Carrier Annex where he works and recognized him for three decades of employment with the Postal Service.

Banas is a city letter carrier who serves in the Westbrook unit, delivering mail to Westbrook residents and businesses.

“Stan has given many years of excellent service to our organization and to our customers. We sincerely appreciate his long career and distinguished record of achievement,” said Postmaster Fortunato, who is responsible for mail delivery in Portland and its surrounding suburbs.
