Kathryn Eileen Gooch was born to Jason and Andrea Gooch on March 29 in Maine Medical Center. Kathryn weighed 6 pounds 8 ounces.

Jim and Peggy Fitz of Buxton are maternal grandparents. Paternal grandparents are William and Candace Gooch of Limerick, Donna Gooch of Hollis and Dotty Joanis of Hollis.

Maxine Fitz of Glenburn is Kathryn’s great-grandmother.

Little Paws yard sale

Little Paws Animal Shelter will sponsor a yard sale 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, at the shelter on Portland Road.

A wide variety of items will be available. Those wishing to donate items should call 929-5505 or 727-6835 to have donations picked up.

The shelter is planning a benefit golf tournament on June 17 at the Nonesuch River Golf Course in Scarborough.

Kids craft fair

Buxton United Methodist Church has announced a kids’ craft fair, sponsored by youth groups, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, at the North Street Chapel at the corner of North Street and Fort Hill Road in Gorham.

The event features a clown show and breakfast and lunch items will be available. The craft fair will be held rain or shine.
