On Thursday, April 14, the Finance Committee of the Town Council voted to reduce the School Department budget by $450,000. This is a significant amount that will undoubtedly impact programming at all levels, K-12.
On Wednesday, April 27, the Town Council will hold a Public Hearing on the Municipal and School Department budgets. The hearing will take place at Town Hall at 7:00 p.m. Parents and community members are encouraged to attend the Public Hearing to share their thoughts on the impact of this reduction and on the overall Municipal and School budgets. Your voice is important in setting the course for 2005-2006 and beyond. Please make every effort to attend and be heard.
