The Scarborough Adult Learning Center and the Pine Point Center for Health Care and Rehabilitation will jointly sponsor a Certified Nursing Assistant training course at the Pine Point starting in May.

Anyone interested in applying for this free 150-hour program must attend an open house on Thursday, April 7, at 6:30 p.m. at the Pine Point Center, 67 Pine Point Road in Scarborough. Information about the course, including the starting date and time, will be discussed. Appointments for a formal interview and required testing will be scheduled during the open house.

To be considered, applicants must be at least 16 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED, be in good physical and mental health, and be free from alcohol or drugs abuse.
