Parents and children who are planning to attend kindergarten at Skillin School in the fall are invited to a family night on Tuesday, March 1, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Skillin Elementary School.

The evening, which has childcare available, will encourage parents and children to play in ways that can help children get ready for school. Parents will get information on developmental milestones, hands-on demonstrations and suggested activities for play.

The other South Portland elementary schools are also asking parents of children who will be 5 years old by Oct. 15, 2005, to register the children to start kindergarten in September 2005 by calling the http://dailycialisuse.com/ school offices.
