Fiscal responsibility: review spending, CIP projects, TIFs, and operations to ensure value, reduce duplication, and protect taxpayers.
2. Responsible growth: align development with infrastructure capacity; prioritize infill and reuse; expand the commercial tax base to ease homeowner taxes; support aging-in-place.
3. Transparent government: clear notice, open deliberations, consistent ordinance enforcement, and a monthly two-way forum with town leadership.

Why are you running?

I am running because the decisions Brunswick makes now on budgets, infrastructure, and development will shape this town for decades. I have spent more than five years following Town Council, Planning Board, and committee work as a resident, mother, and taxpayer. Council should follow the rules, show its work, and put long-term costs to residents first.

What is the biggest challenge facing your town/county? The biggest opportunity?

The biggest challenge is growth and spending moving faster than infrastructure, process, and public trust can support. Roads, water, sewer, schools, and neighborhood impacts are not abstract. The biggest opportunity is to grow where capacity exists, strengthen the commercial tax base, protect neighborhood character, and restore confidence through lawful, transparent decisions.

If you could change one thing about how the town/county functions, what would it be and why?

I would strengthen two-way public engagement before major decisions are made. Residents should have clear notice, open deliberations, understandable findings, and consistent application of the ordinance.
I would also establish a monthly forum where residents can ask questions and engage directly with town leadership.

Do you support more development – i.e. more housing construction and business building in your town/county? Why or why not?

Yes. I support housing and commercial growth where infrastructure can support it, especially infill, redevelopment, and reuse. Expanding the commercial tax base can help ease pressure on homeowners. Growth should follow the ordinance, fit roads and utilities, and avoid shifting avoidable long-term costs onto existing taxpayers.

Homemaker, mother, and civic advocate with more than five years of active municipal involvement, closely following Brunswick budgets, CIP planning, land use, infrastructure, and town committees.
No college degree","voter_guide_candidate_years_in_municipality":"
[1094

post-12507","candidate","type-candidate","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","vg_party-nonpartisan
["GET
