York special budget approval

The people of York will vote whether to spend $500,000 from the unassigned fund balance to sustain the York Ambulance Association through the end of its contract in July 2027.

Up to $500,000

Voting "Yes" Means:

The town will immediately allocate $300,000 to York Ambulance and can distribute further monthly payments until July 2027, so long as the nonprofit meets requirements set by the Select Board.

Voting "No" Means:

York Ambulance Association must raise funds on its own to sustain service through the end of its contract.
