Top Three Priorities

I have no priorities. Important to me in no particular order are education, affordability, downtown development, elderly aging in place, and diverse population.

Why are you running?

In my 58 years in town, I have served on many Boards and Committees in Freeport. I have raised four children in Freeport who went through the school system. I have a background in human resources, real estate investment and management, and senior business management. I am a very active member of the community, really enjoy living in Freeport, and believe I am well qualified to contribute to the work of the Town Council.

What is the biggest challenge facing your town/county? The biggest opportunity?

A big challenge is balancing the needs of our town with the high cost of meeting those needs in a challenging political environment. A big opportunity is the smart, engaged people of Freeport and the many organizations that make Freeport a better place.

Do you support more development – i.e. more housing construction and business building in your town/county? Why or why not?

Freeport is an expensive place to find a home. I support more opportunities to enable younger people and families to find housing to rent or buy in our town.
