Memorial Rock moved front and center outside Brunswick High School
The rock has been a fixture in Brunswick for decades and honors Brunswick High School alumni who “made the ultimate sacrifice for their country." There are two plaques, one honoring those who died in World War II, and the other honoring those who died in the Korean War and the Vietnam War.

Mama Tried is a band of “non-professional musicians” that practice in math teacher Clark Porter's basement after school on Wednesday nights. Their third gig at Cadenza benefits the Brunswick Area Student Aid Fund.
