Distribution Assistants
The Portland Press Herald is hiring part-time Warehouse Distribution Assistants for night shifts.
Responsibilities include:
- Packaging newspaper products
- Material handling
- Properly feed insert hopper
- Inserting pages into the newspapers
- Other tasks as needed within the department.
We Offer:
- Paid Training
- Night shifts: Wednesday-Saturday
- Part-Time positions available. $15.24 per hour (nights)
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This is a physically demanding job requiring lengthy time standing, bending, stretching, lifting pushing and climbing. Should be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 100 pounds in a team lift situation, and 25-50 lbs. regularly.
