PORTLAND — The Maine Health Workforce Forum will hold the state’s second health workforce summit on Thursday, June 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Wells Conference Center, University of Maine at Orono.

The event is free and open to the public; registration is required.

The summit, “Collaborative and Innovative Solutions to Meeting the Health Workforce Needs of Employers,” is designed to inform health care, long-term care, and public health employers, educators, economic developers, employment professionals, and policymakers about resources and successful collaborations and innovative strategies for addressing Maine’s health workforce needs.

Also, the summit will host a town hall meeting with expert panelists, including Assistant Secretary of Employment and Training Administration Jane Oates and Maine Department of Labor Commissioner Jeanne Pacquette.
