BRUNSWICK — The Maine Tennis Association recently announced that Friday, Sept. 6, from 5 to 8 p.m., will be the first-ever “Free Tennis Night in Maine” to celebrate the sport. Several indoor tennis clubs in Maine, including Maine Pines Racquet and Fitness in Brunswick, will host the event.

The Maine Tennis Association, along with support from USTA New England, is offering this free night as a way to get people back into the sport, celebrate those who currently play and reach out to new players. Each event will have a tennis professional on site to assist in the no-pressure night of friendly competition and socialization.
