Nolan Pomerleau went around right end for a 15-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, and Massabesic held on for a 7-6 win at Sanford in a Class A South football regular-season finale Thursday night.

Cameron Bourque’s successful extra point proved to be the difference for Massabesic (3-6).

Sanford (2-7) scored early in the fourth quarter on a 44-yard run by Jayden Franco, but the Spartans were stopped on a 2-point conversion attempt.
