The University of Southern Maine will honor eight former players and coaches during the Husky Hall of Fame induction banquet Oct. 5 at the Italian Heritage Center in Portland.
This year’s inductees, which will bring the total to 267, include longtime baseball coach Ed Flaherty, who also coached women’s soccer; Darryl Campbell Whitney, cross country and track; Deedra (Beveridge) Boudreau, field hockey and track; Peter McHugh, men’s soccer; Mary Caron, softball; Hannah Damton, cross country and track; Logan Carman, baseball; and Jamie Ruginski, track.
