Biddeford at Gorham, Sept. 18: This is the first of two regular-season rematches of last year’s Class A final. Biddeford will be looking to avenge its state final loss, while repeat champion Gorham is seeking to establish itself as the team to beat again. These two powerhouse meet in Biddeford on Oct. 2.

Washington Academy at Yarmouth, Sept. 20: This is one of two trips that Washington will make to southern Maine during the regular season, and both are against fellow Class B title contenders. The reigning state champion Raiders swept both regular-season meetings in 2024.

Thornton Academy at Cheverus/Waynflete, Sept. 23: Both programs bring back strong lineups. Cheverus won both regular-season matchups last year, 3-0 and 3-1, and then defeated the Golden Trojans 3-1 in the Class A quarterfinals. Both teams are aiming to be contenders again. Thornton Academy hopes to surpass the younger Stags with a roster comprised of juniors and seniors who have been playing together for several years.

York at Yarmouth, Oct. 14: This is the second meeting of the season between these Class B powerhouses. The Clippers won both of last year’s regular-season meetings, but the Wildcats finally exorcised Yarmouth’s dominance in the rivalry by beating the Clippers in the state semifinals — York’s first-ever win over Yarmouth. The Wildcats bring back five starters from last year’s state runner-up squad, while the Clippers will be led by Grace Keaney and Ella Cameron.

Washington Academy at York, Oct. 16: This late-season showdown is a rematch of the 2024 Class B championship match, which the Raiders won to claim their fourth Class B title and seventh state championship overall.
