Students in communities served by the Portland Water District who are pursuing a career applicable to the water/wastewater industry (e.g., water/wastewater treatment technology, HVAC, electrical, automation technology, instrumentation, plumbing, pipefitting, fire science, environmental studies, applied sciences, engineering or public administration) are eligible for the Joseph A. DiPietro Scholarship. The deadline to apply for the scholarship is March 31.
The Joseph A. DiPietro Scholarship is a one-time $1,500 award. It was established in 2003 in memory of respected businessman and longtime Portland Water District Trustee Joe DiPietro.
