A 14-year-old from New Sweden has been missing since late September.
Stefanie Damron was last seen walking into the woods on West Road Sept. 23, wearing a blue long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and Harley Davidson hiking boots, Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss said in a statement Tuesday afternoon.

Damron was 13 when her parents reported her missing on Sept. 24 but has since turned 14, Moss said.
She is described as being 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing roughly 130 pounds and having green eyes and shoulder-length brown hair.
The case is being investigated by Maine State Police’s Major Crimes and Computer Crimes units, as well as the FBI’s Boston Field Office, Moss said.
Investigators, including members of the Maine Warden Service, have searched the area Damron was last seen with K9s and conducted interviews throughout the state, nationally and in Canada, but have been unable to locate Stefanie, Moss said.
State police are asking anyone with information about the teenager’s location to call the Houlton Barracks at 207-532-5400.
