Born to John and Albertine (Deshanais) Frechette, Mariette Solange Frechette, she is predeceased by three brothers Ronald, Andrew and Ralph and sister Gabrielle Tardiff. As well as her daughter-in-law Diane (Landry) Duhamel of Meriden, Connecticut.
Mariette married Roger Duhamel on Aug. 20, 1950, and was widowed in July 1991. Together they have four surviving children, Michael G Duhamel of Meriden, Connecticut, Karen Tibbetts and husband Leon of Port Orange, Florida, Marc G. Duhamel of Ormond Beach, Florida and Sandra Duhamel and wife Sharilynn of Port Orange, Florida.
She is also survived by six grandsons, Gary, Kurt, and Kevin Duhamel all of Connecticut, Brian Duhamel of Windham, Maine, and Daniel Duhamel of Ormond Beach, Florida, and Alexander Jurgiewich of Bangkok, Thailand; as well as two granddaughters Robin Jaworski of Connecticut and Keri Duhamel of Maine. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
