Abby Bouffard had five goals, including the winner 37 seconds into overtime, and added a pair of assists as Biddeford edged Marshwood 8-7 in a girls’ lacrosse game at South Berwick.

Cece Keller added three goals and a pair of assists for Biddeford (10-4).

Sarah Theriault led Marshwood (9-5) with three goals.

Lauren Walker stopped 12 shots for the Hawks, Natiliah Martinez made 10 saves for the Tigers.

BOYS’ LACROSSE

WELLS 13, TRAIP ACADEMY 5: Eli Steere scored four goals as the Warriors (11-3) beat the Rangers (4-9) at Kittery.

Hayden Bedell had three goals for Wells, Gavyn Petrie and Connor Whitten tossed in two goals apiece, and Don Buxton and Colby Sevigney also scored.

Noah Matthews led Traip with a pair of goals.

BASEBALL

FALMOUTH 11, DEERING 0: The Navigators (15-1) broke a scoreless tie with three runs in the top of the fourth and followed with eight more in the fifth as they closed out their regular season, cruising by the Rams (0-16) at Hadlock Field.

Jacoby Porter had a two-run single in the fifth inning for Falmouth, and Peyton Mitchell added an RBI double.

Eli Cowperthwaite grabbed the win, going the first 3 2/3, allowing one hit, striking out nine.

SOFTBALL

LAKE REGION 17, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: The Lakers (12-4) sent 17 batters to the plate in the bottom of the third, scoring nine runs, as they beat the Hawks (8-8) at Naples.

Melissa Mayo threw the first four scoreless innings, allowing two hits, striking out six and walking one, and adding a triple and a double at the plate, with three RBI and three runs scored.

Mallory Smith added a pair of singles, and drove in three runs for Lake Region.
