McKayla Kortes threw a no-hitter and helped spark York’s offense with two hits as the Wildcats shut out Lake Region, 3-0, in a Class B South softball game Friday in York.

It was the eighth straight win for York (12-1), which is ranked second in Class B South Heal points. Lake Region (8-2) is ranked third.

Bella Santini also had two hits, Carlie Welch hit an RBI single, and Emily Estes drove in a run for the Wildcats.

Lake Region pitcher Melissa Mayo recorded eight strikeouts.

WINDHAM 19, MASSABESIC 3: Stella Jarvais went 5 for 5 and drove in six runs to lead the Eagles(11-1) past the Mustangs (3-8) in six innings at Waterboro.

Windham put the mercy rule into effect with a nine-run sixth that included RBI from Jarvais, Oakley McLeod, Nola Bryant, Hannah Heanssler, Brooke Gerry and Kennedy Kimball.

Windham totaled 18 hits and benefited from six errors.

KENNEBUNK/SANFORD 12, CHEVERUS 0: Julia Pike threw a three-hitter with 12 strikeouts and went 4 for 4, with a triple and three RBI to power the Rams (10-1) past the Stags (6-6) in six innings at Kennebunk.

Emily Hutchins contributed a triple and a single, and Talia Kellum also had two hits.

WELLS 11, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 1: Nikki Aleman and Delani Brown each stole three bases each, and Wells (8-4) totaled nine steals in a five-inning win over the Patriots (2-11) at Wells.

Brown also drove in three runs with a pair of singles.

Maisie Lerette had a triple and a single for Gray-New Gloucester.

POLAND 11, YARMOUTH 0: Gretchyn Paradis struck out nine and held the Clippers (4-7) to two hits as the Knights (11-1) won a six-inning game in Yarmouth.

Olivia Rioux paced Poland’s nine-hit attack with a triple, two singles and two RBI. Khloe O’Leary doubled twice and Emma Martin once, Maggie McGlauflin had two hits and two RBI, and Sydney Lacombe singled twice and drove in a run.

Both of Yarmouth’s hits were by Emma Butsch.

MARSHWOOD/BERWICK 17, BONNY EAGLE 3: Jaydyn Eastman and Piper Catanese each had four RBI as the Hawks (8-5) defeated the Scots (1-11) in Standish.

Eastman went 4 for 5 with a pair of doubles, and Catanese belted a home run, a triple and a single. Taylor Labreck also homered, and Lilly Gennero and Lindsay Bennett added two hits apiece.

LEWISTON 6, CAMDEN HILLS 5: Aubrey Peer doubled home Reese Maynard in the bottom of the ninth as the Blue Devils (2-10) edged the Windjammers (3-8) in Lewiston.

Maynard led off the ninth with a triple – her second hit of the game. Peer and Ava Marquis also had two hits for Lewiston. Ava Dionne pitched all nine innings for Lewiston, scattering eight hits while striking out 15.

Dionne and Elissa Nadeau had RBI during a three-run fifth for the Blue Devils that cut the Windjammers’ lead to 5-4.

Maya Stone, Natalie Bolduc and Hannah Leavitt each had two hits for Camden Hills.

TRAIP ACADEMY 15, ST. DOMINIC 5: Emme Hale drove in three runs and scored twice, and Morgan Wilcox pitched a six-hitter as the Rangers (1-11) beat the Saints (4-7) in Kittery for their first win in two years.

GORHAM 14, DEERING 3: Terra Rioux and Kyleah Mack drove in runs during a seven-run third inning, and Gorham (9-4) earned a five-inning win over Deering (1-12) in Portland.

Rioux, Madi England and Sawyer Vonderhaar had multiple hits for Gorham.

Sophie Hill and Kira Siteman were repeat hitters for Deering.

LACROSSE

LINCOLN ACADEMY 18, ERSKINE ACADEMY 11: Marley LeBel scored nine goals and added two assists, and Mariam DeLisle had six goals and one assist to lead Lincoln Academy (8-2) over Erskine Academy (4-8) at Newcastle.

Belle Pelotte led Erskine with six goals.

GREELY 13, CAPE ELIZABETH 5: Charlotte Taylor scored four goals, including the 100th of her career, and added three assists as the Rangers (11-1) beat the Capers (4-5) in Cumberland.

Asja Kelman also had four goals, Jenny Medrano tossed in two, and Lauren Dennen, Jane Flynn and Allie Read got one apiece.

Kaity Woods and Campbell DeGeorge each scored twice for Cape Elizabeth. Genny Carignan added a goal and Heather Campbell notched three assists.
