Liam Emmons homered twice, including a three-run blast during a seven-run third inning as Freeport earned an 8-5 win over Cape Elizabeth in a Class B South baseball game Friday afternoon.
Tristan Francis and Gus Hollen each hit RBI doubles during the third-inning outburst for Freeport (7-5).
Sam Lombardo drove in three runs for Cape Elizabeth (10-2) with a bases-loaded walk in the first inning and a two-run single in the seventh.
YARMOUTH 4, POLAND 0: David Swift and Andrew Cheever combined on a two-hitter as the Clippers (9-2) shut out the Knights (5-7) in Yarmouth.
Swift pitched the first six innings before Cheever locked up the win with a scoreless seventh. Liam Hickey tripled for Yarmouth, and Jack Janczuk and Steve Walsh each hit a double.
The Clippers scored two runs in the first inning and two in the second, then were held scoreless over the next five innings by Poland pitcher Adam Gwarjanski.
Drew Sayler and Landon Cooper got Poland’s hits.
WELLS 2, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Keith Ramsey allowed three hits over the final four innings as the Warriors (8-1) downed the Patriots (2-11) in Wells.
Santiago Fitch-Cury pitched the first three innings for Wells, giving up two hits and striking out seven.
Ayden Collins hit an RBI double for Wells, which benefited from seven errors.
BONNY EAGLE 3, WESTBROOK 1: Brekin Daycoombs allowed just three hits through six innings as the Scots (3-7) beat the Blue Blazes (4-8) in Westbrook.
Levi Woods worked around two walks in the seventh to earn the save. Kyle Blaney hit a double and a single for the Scots.
YORK 11, LAKE REGION 1: John Jacobsohn allowed two hits over four innings, and went 2 for 2 with two RBI to lead the Wildcats (6-6) over the Lakers (1-11) in five innings at York.
Jack Joyce homered for York, which scored three runs in the second and third innings, then put it away with a five-run fourth.
Jake Chadbourne had two of the four hits for the Lakers.
LEWISTON 11, CAMDEN HILLS 0: The Blue Devils (1-11) plated eight runs in the first inning and cruised to a five-inning win over the Windjammers (1-10) in Lewiston.
Lewiston added three runs in the fourth , highlighted by Ethan Blue’s inside-the-park home run.
Michael Caron hit a triple and drove in four runs for the Blue Devils. Lonnie Thomas hit a two-run single during Lewiston’s big first inning.
Brandon Farinas pitched all five innings for the Blue Devils. He allowed three hits, walked two and struck out three.
CONY 11, OCEANSIDE 0: Kam Douin struck out 13 and allowed just two hits as the Rams (11-1) cruised past the Mariners (8-4) in six innings at Rockland.
Parker Morin hit a home run and a single. The Rams also got two hits each from Jordan Benedict and Davis Kibler.
Dominic Frisone had two hits for Oceanside.
ERSKINE ACADEMY 4, MORSE 2: Tristan Anderson belted a home run and a single and drove in three runs to lead the Eagles (7-5) to a win over the Shipbuilders (5-7) in South China.
Grady Hotham added two doubles, and Beck Jorgensen had two singles.
Calin Gould led Morse with two hits.
OAK HILL 22, BOOTHBAY/WISCASSET 0: Kyle Delano homered and doubled and pitched the first three innings to help power the Raiders (10-2) to a win against Boothbay/Wiscasset (3-8) in Boothbay Harbor.
Cooper Spencer had three of Oak Hill’s nine hits, and Zak Bean matched Delano with two. Delano drove in four runs, Spencer tallied three RBI, and Ethan Vattaso and Grayson Letourneau each recorded two.
ST. DOMINIC 17, TRAIP ACADEMY 4: The Saints (9-3) pounded out eight extra-base hits, including a home run by Miles Frenette, in a win over the Rangers (2-11) at Kittery.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 12, OAK HILL 2: Brayden Warde totaled five goals and three assists to lead the Panthers (7-3) past Oak Hill/Monmouth/Lisbon/St. Dom’s (7-4) at Yarmouth.
Zach Leinwand, Seamus Rohde, Wyatt Thomas, Grey Perham, Jonah Donnelly, Nolan Pecora and Gabriel Leclerc were the other NYA goal scorers.
Kaiden Delano scored twice for the Raiders.
WINDHAM 9, CHEVERUS 4: Alex Yeaton tallied two goals and three assists to help the Eagles (6-5) beat the Stags (4-6) at Windham.
Evan Yale also scored twice. Owen Gaulrapp added a goal and an assist.
Ryan Franceshi had a goal and an assist for Cheverus. Luke McNabb, Brady Cash and Brogan Danzig also scored.
SCARBOROUGH 7, PORTLAND 4: Olin Pederson had three goals and an assist for the Red Storm (4-7), who overcame a 4-3 halftime deficit to beat the Bulldogs (6-5) at Scarborough.
Drew Witas also scored three goals for Scarborough, and Jordan Sheppard was the other goal scorer.
Brady Toher had a pair of goals for Portland.
