Morse High School has brought on two new teachers to its faculty, Sarah Coleman as theater director and Andy Chipman as band director.
Coleman has a background in high school and college drama as both a director and teacher. She also works within professional theater and arts organizations.
As one of her first assignments, Coleman will work with colleague Sandy Foreman to organize the annual variety and talent show, held this year Nov. 17 and 18. She is also helping several students who wrote plays last year have their work read.
This year Coleman, Chipman and Foreman will also work together to bring a Spring musical into fruition, an idea that has been long discussed but yet to be put into action.
Chipman, the band director at the middle school for eight years, said he is focusing on preparing students for winter and spring concerts.
