Jennifer White’s award-winning business reveals her many skills. Her service to others reveals her huge heart.
In 1999, Jennifer opened a child care center, A Joyful Noise, offering educational programs for infants through fifth-graders, licensed for up to 100 children. It was voted Best Day Care Center in the Lakes Region the past five years.
Her community involvement includes founding and spearheading the efforts of Global Harvest Outreach, a nonprofit organization that provides charitable assistance in Maine and abroad. Trips included efforts to clean up after Hurricane Katrina, to the Crow Reservation in Montana to raise money to buy a community center in tribal villages, and to India, twice, after tsunamis.
Jennifer is a licensed real estate broker and operates her own real estate business.
Her business background and her community service makes her an excellent candidate to serve us in the Maine Senate District 25.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
