After serving briefly as an assistant attorney general, Slattery became an assistant district attorney in York County. In 1991, she was appointed deputy district attorney.
Justin Chenette, who previously served four terms in the Maine Legislature, bested incumbent Allen Sicard in the June Democratic primary contest to represent York County Commissioner District 3, which includes Saco, Old Orchard Beach, Hollis, and Buxton. He is a communications and public relations director for a nonprofit community mental health provider.
Nancy Hammond is unopposed for a second term as York County Register of Deeds. She was employed by a title company for 34 years before winning the 2018 election and took office Jan. 1, 2019.
Bobby Mills is unopposed for his second term as York County Treasurer. He was first elected to the part-time position in 2018; York County employs a full-time finance director. Mills is also a Biddeford city councilor and works for a package delivery company.
