As part of the West Falmouth Sewer Project, construction along Middle Road previously scheduled to start July 18 will now begin Monday, July 25.
The project will begin at Lunt Road and end at the Woods Road roundabout and require the full closure of Middle Road between Lunt and Bucknam roads. Motorists will be detoured to Falmouth Road. Middle Road residents will be allowed access to their properties throughout the closure, which is expected to last for several weeks, although construction along Middle Road will continue into September.
The West Falmouth Sewer Project includes upsizing the Falmouth Road Pump Station and sewer piping on Woods and Middle roads. For the most current information on the project see falmouthme.org.
