PORTLAND — An Old Orchard Beach man was sentenced Monday at U.S. District Court in Portland for distributing fentanyl, U.S. Attorney Darcie N. McElwee announced.
U.S. District Court Judge George Z. Singal sentenced Corydon Mills, 33, to 10 years in prison and three years of supervised release. Mills pleaded guilty to distributing fentanyl at a court hearing in August.
According to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s office, on Jan. 23, 2017, Mills provided fentanyl to two people at a home in Old Orchard Beach. The two used the fentanyl and died as a result.
The Old Orchard Beach Police Department and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency investigated the case.
