Northern Light Mercy Hospital will wind down public vaccinations at the Portland Expo by June 18.
The clinic will be open to walk-ins from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26, and Friday, May 28. Beginning in June, the Expo clinic, where more than 21,000 people have been vaccinated since March 2, will no longer be open to first-dose walk-ins and will shift to providing second doses only. For those who have received their first dose at the Expo, second doses will be provided Fridays in June from 8 a.m. to noon.
Second dose Pfizer walk-ins will also be accepted during these Fridays for those who may have received their first doses elsewhere.
Northern Light Health Mercy Hospital will provide vaccinations at its primary care offices and on a walk-in basis at the Northern Light Pharmacy at the Fore River campus in Portland and the Northern Light Mercy offices in Gorham and Windham.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
