SOUTH BERWICK — Austin Mather and Zach Strand combined for a no-hitter for York, which allowed two unearned runs in losing to Marshwood 3-2 Tuesday in baseball.
Marshwood (5-5) took the lead in the bottom of the fifth on Henry Dimmerling’s fielder’s choice to break a 2-2 tie.
Luke Doughty had three hits for York (5-4), and Josh Gennero added a double.
YARMOUTH 10, CAPE ELIZABETH 0: Jake Gautreau and Jack McGrath combined on a no-hitter as the Clippers (6-1) defeated the Capers (3-4) at Yarmouth.
Gautreau pitched four innings with two strikeouts and a walk. McGrath allowed one walk in the fifth.
Will Cox, in his first game after coming out of quarantine, had three hits for Yarmouth, including a triple and double, and scored four runs. McGrath added a double and drove in three runs, and Gautreau drove in two runs with two hits.
SOUTH PORTLAND 13, DEERING 0: Andrew Heffernan went 2 for 2 with a double and single and drove in a pair of runs for the Red Riots (5-1) as they blanked the Rams (0-3) at South Portland.
GORHAM 6, BIDDEFORD 2: The Rams (5-2) scored three runs in the bottom of the first, highlighted by a run-scoring single from Sean Boylen, and added a pair of runs in the third, paced by an RBI single from Body Meader, as they cruised past the Tigers (5-3) at Gorham.
Boylen had two hits for Gorham, Quinn Dillon had a double and single and Kyle Skofield and Caleb Hendricks each added doubles.
Ashton Crowell had a pair of singles to lead Biddeford.
KENNEBUNK 10, TRAIP ACADEMY 0: Landon Schwartzman threw a one-hitter, fanning nine batters, as the Rams (6-1) blanked the Rangers (1-6) in six innings at Kennebunk.
David York had a two-run double in the six-run fourth inning for Kennebunk, and Quinn MacDonald singled and scored three runs.
Frankie Driscoll singled in the first inning for Traip Academy.
NOBLE 6, MASSABESIC 0: Chris Morton and Aidan O’Connor combined for a three-hitter for the Knights (5-2) as they blanked the Mustangs (3-4) at North Berwick.
Kyle Druge opened the scoring for Noble with a two-run single in the first. Noble added four in the fourth to pull away.
O’Connor and Maksim Masse each had two hits for the Knights.
SCARBOROUGH 3, CHEVERUS 1: The Red Storm (5-0) got a pair of runs in the top of the eighth, paced by an RBI single from TJ Liponis and a sacrifice fly from Ben Seguin, as they outlasted the Stags (3-3) at Portland.
Scarborough scored a run in the top of the first on a sacrifice fly from Peter O’Brien, but Cheverus pulled even in the third on an RBI double from Matt Connor.
Joe Townsend allowed one run on five hits, striking out five for the Red Storm.
ERSKINE ACADEMY 15, LINCOLN ACADEMY 0: Erskine scored 11 runs over the third and fourth innings to win at Newcastle.
Nick Barber tripled for Erskine. Grady Hotham and Harry Rabideau each doubled for the Eagles.
SACOPEE VALLEY 16, ST. DOMINIC 1: Tristan Croteau drove in four runs on three hits to pace the Hawks (5-4) as they beat the Saints (0-3) at Lewiston.
Starter McGwire Sawyer threw a two-hitter, fanning five and walking one for Sacopee Valley.
BOYS’ LACROSSE
BONNY EAGLE 20, WESTBROOK 0: Nick Klein scored four goals as the Scots (5-2) blanked the Blue Blazes (0-4) at Standish.
Vinny Bruni and Conner Krunkula added three goals apiece.
PORTLAND 15, DEERING 5: Sam Gerber finished with five goals and an assist to lead the visiting Bulldogs (4-3) past Deering (0-5) at Portland.
Carlos Broceras and Drew Leonard each added two goals and two assists for Portland, and Toby Maccachran and Fen DeNiord each had two goals and an assist.
SCARBOROUGH 14, SOUTH PORTLAND 7: Sam Romelhart and Owen Leadley each had a hat trick to power the Red Storm (5-1) over the Red Riots (0-7) at South Portland.
Tae Delaware, Jeremiah Park and Finn Pedersen each scored a pair of goals for Scarborough.
Nick Tolan led South Portland with three goals, with Cullen Adams chipping with two.
CJ Merenghi made eight saves for the Red Riots and Josh Medeiros stopped three shots for the Red Storm.

ST. DOMINIC 13, SACOPEE VALLEY 12: Kathleen Dean threw 129 pitches in the Saints’ victory over the Hawks (3-3) at Auburn.
Bella Perryman hit a home run and Bella Webster had a double for St. Dom’s (2-1).
WINDHAM 6, WESTBROOK 0: Brooke Gerry threw a two-hitter with 16 strikeouts and added two singles as the Eagles (6-2) shut out the Blue Blazes (3-2) at Westbrook.
Ellen Files had a two-run double in the top of the first for Windham, which added three runs in the sixth, paced by Gerry’s RBI single and a two-run homer by Ella Wilcox.
GREELY 14, MT. ARARAT 7: Hailey Stewart had three hits, including a two-out, two-run double in the fifth inning to give the Rangers (3-3) lead for good in beating the Eagles (3-4) at Topsham.
Olivia Stewart had three hits, Lily Rawnsley had a pair of doubles, and Maia Wright added two hits, including a solo homer in the seventh.
Jordan Lohr had three hits, including a solo home run in the seventh for Mt. Ararat, and Emily Wormwood blasted a two-run homer in the first.
