As a volunteer for the town of Falmouth and president of the Falmouth Memorial Library, I have had the pleasure of collaborating with Falmouth Town Council chairperson and library liaison, Amy Kuhn, over the past three years.
In both capacities as council chairperson and library liaison, Amy continually demonstrates qualities critical to the success of any civic leader: empathy, intelligence, professionalism and teamwork.
Amy’s love for the town of Falmouth permeates all of her decisions as a leader, whether it be as an advocate for investment in our town library, a supporter of our schools, a proponent for equity and inclusion in our town or as a mentor and friend to other community leaders.
I look forward to voting for Amy Kuhn for Falmouth Town Council on June 8.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
