“I was very pleased how we started the game and were ready to play today, that is a big step for us as a program,” said Lisbon first-year coach Shawn Rhoda. “We got our starting center back Ethan Brown back for his first game of the season and he stepped right in and made a difference. Our focus as a team is just try and get better every time we step on the field and play for 80 minutes.”
Lisbon goaltender Sean Moore turned away seven shots, and the Greyhounds held a 6-1 edge in corner kicks.
