Buckfield — Buckfield netted four goals in the first half and two in the second to shut out Pine Tree Academy, 6-0, on Monday in Class D boys soccer action.

Victor Verrill paced Buckfield (9-3-1) with two goals, followed by a goal each from Elijah Chasse, Dylan Harvey, Shane St. Pierre and Caleb Hill. Harvey added two assists, while Hill and Chasse assisted on a goal each.

Pine Tree (7-6) goalkeeper Liam Knowles saved eight shots, while Rick Kraske stopped three shots and Brandon Donahue two for Buckfield.

The Breakers host Greater Portland Christian today at 3:30 p.m.
