The hypocrisy coming from the Blaine House is appalling.
The governor and his wife had major surgery to reverse unhealthy weight gain, obviously from being food addicts.
Other options were available, like dieting and will power. Governor, do you think drug addicts are lesser humans than you and your family?
Are they to find their own solutions to addiction to substances far worse and dangerous than food?
Too bad there isn’t a quick-fix surgery for substance abusers. For food addicts, there is a solution if you have health insurance.
I guess drug addicts are lesser people who are expected to find their own solutions to the abuse of a substance far worse than food.
The LePages were fortunate to have health insurance to pay for the expensive surgery.
