BRUNSWICK — Henry Doherty tied the game with six seconds left in regulation and Max Gramins got the winner 33 seconds into overtime as second-seeded Brunswick rallied to beat No. 3 Yarmouth in a Class B boys’ lacrosse semifinal Wednesday night.
Yarmouth (9-5) led 9-5 in the third quarter and was still ahead 13-11 with less than three minutes remaining, but Brunswick (11-3) got goals from Aiden Glover and Doherty to force overtime.
The Dragons advanced to face No. 1 Greely (11-3) at 10 a.m. Saturday at Portland’s Fitzpatrick Stadium.
Gramins finished with three goals, and Glover had two goals and four assists.
Anders Corey paced Yarmouth with four goals.
