The South Portland Professional Firefighters hockey team took part in the recent Maine Pond Hockey Classic, which benefits the Greater Waterville Boys and Girls Club and helps them to provide meals to children.

The SP Firefighters will play the South Portland High School alumni in a charity game, followed by a game between professional players, March 24 at Troubh Ice Arena in Portland.
