LISBON
The Lisbon High School field hockey ended a threegame losing skid to begin the season, rolling to an 8-0 Mountain Valley Conference win over Telstar on Monday.
The Greyhounds (1-3) received four goals from Savannah Czechalski.
Sydney Plourde chipped in two goals, and Morgan Fenderson and Shelby Cyr added a goal apiece. Mallory Fairbanks dished out three assists, with Fenderson, Megan Libby, Peyton Gosselin and Natalie Scott handing out one helper each.
Perry Morton had 25 saves in the Telstar net.
Lisbon hosts Boothbay on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

JAY — Cam Poisson scored two second-half penalty-kick goals to lift Lisbon to a come-from-behind 2- 1 MVC victory over Spruce Mountain.
The Phoenix jumped out quickly, receiving a goal just 53 seconds in from Brady Walp off an assist from Jack Gilbert.
However, the Greyhounds, 2-0-1 and slated to host Winthrop on Wednesday at 4 p.m., tied the game early in the second half and gained the lead later in the frame.
