BIDDEFORD — The Biddeford 50+ Club would like to extend a huge thank you to all of the area businesses who donated items toward the Senior Prom which was held on Saturday, June 17 in the Auditorium of the Ross Center in Biddeford.
All of the club members who volunteered their time to help make the prom a success also deserve gratitude for their efforts.
On Tuesday, July 11, the Biddeford 50+ Club gathered for its monthly meeting and dinner at the Ramada Inn and Conference Center in Saco and club leadership said it is always such a pleasure to see club members come together and enjoy socializing, good food, and dancing to the entertainment after dinner, DJ Jerry provided the entertainment for the event.
The next monthly meeting and luncheon for the Biddeford 50+ Club will be held from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8 at the Clambake on Pine Point Road in Scarborough.
There will be a Lunch Buffet consisting of seafood and meat specialties, salad, rolls and butter, dessert with coffee or tea provided. Gloria Jean will provide entertainment after lunch.
The cost is $20 per person, please call or stop by the Biddeford 50+ Club office before Thursday, Aug. 3 to register and pay for your meal.
Plans are currently in the works for our upcoming 50th Anniversary Gala event marking the Biddeford 50+ Club’s 50th Anniversary.
The event will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Oct. 21 at the Rochambeau Club.
