A 35 year-old-woman was rushed to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston via LifeFlight after a stabbing in Rumford on Friday evening.

Michelle Benavidez was stabbed on the sidewalk in front of a 323 Cumberland St. just before 6 p.m., according to WCSH-TV. Rumford police told WCSH that she was with a group of about a half-dozen people, some of whom were intoxicated.
