The condition of an Augusta woman admitted to Maine Medical Center in Portland on Wednesday following a crash on Interstate 295 in Yarmouth has been upgraded from fair to satisfactory.
Kayla Littlefield, 21, was a passenger on a Harley-Davidson driven by Johnathan Blum of Augusta. At about 4:40 p.m., while rush-hour traffic was backing up, the motorcycle went into a skid and crashed, throwing them both from the bike.
Both Blum and Littlefield were taken to Maine Medical Center, where Blum was treated and released Wednesday night.
They both were wearing helmets.
