Biddeford police have released the name of a 19-year-old man who apparently committed suicide by leaping from a fourth-story roof in Biddeford on Tuesday morning.

Jan C. Santana of Puerto Rico was killed in the fall from atop the building at 75 Saco Falls Way, at the old mill complex, said Deputy Chief JoAnne Fisk.

Santana was most recently staying in Saco, and was employed by a subcontractor hired to hang drywall in the building.

No foul play is suspected, but police have not finalized a cause of death, pending toxicology tests.

Santana was pronounced dead at the scene.
