A crash on the Maine Turnpike early Saturday evening closed all southbound lanes briefly between Exit 19 in Wells and Exit 7 in York.
A York toll plaza employee said two cars were involved in the crash, and one of the cars had rolled over. Emergency personnel responded to the scene. Information on any injuries was not immediately available.
According to the Maine Turnpike Authority Facebook page, motorists were told to expect major delays around mile 8 and advised to used caution while traveling through the area. All lanes were once again clear as of about 6:10 p.m., it said.
