A woman was killed Tuesday night when her van struck a tree in the York County town of Lebanon, Maine State Police said.

Michelle Miller, 47, of Waterboro was alone in her vehicle and died at the scene of the crash on Depot Road. The crash was reported just before 8 p.m., according to Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety.

Troopers are looking into whether Miller had a medical issue that caused her to lose control of her van and strike a tree, McCausland said.
