Yarmouth senior standout Patrick Grant was named the Class B boys’ soccer Player of the Year at Sunday’s 42nd annual Maine Soccer Coaches All-Star Banquet in Bangor. Grant, who was also the South MVP of the Senior Bowl, joined teammate Jon Groothoff, Falmouth’s Jack Engelberger and Greely’s Jacob Nason on the boys’ Southern Maine All-State team. Falmouth’s Tyler Spence, Greely’s Izzy Hutnak and Jocelyn Mitiguy and Yarmouth’s Sara D’Appolonia were named to the girls’ Southern Maine All-State team.
