UNION – Maine game wardens say they have located an 82-year-old man who wandered away from an assisted living facility in Union.

Authorities say they were notified at about 4:30 Sunday morning that Gordon Stiles had walked away from the assisted living facility and wandered into the woods.

Rescuers say he was located just before 8 a.m. behind a camp about a mile away from the facility. He was taken to Pen Bay Medical Center for evaluation.

Multiple agencies were involved in the search.
