A Rockland woman pleaded guilty Friday to conspiring to possess about 280 grams of crack cocaine with the intent to distribute it.
According to court records, Jackie Madore, 45, sold crack from January 2010 to December 2013 in Penobscot County and elsewhere in Maine. Court officials said the crack was brought to Maine from New Haven, Connecticut, by others, and Madore paid her suppliers in Connecticut, getting more crack and cash in return.
Madore entered her plea in U.S. District Court in Bangor. She will be sentenced later, facing as much as 20 years in prison and a fine up to $1 million.
