National Donut Day on June 5, appropriately, also marked the grand opening of Frosty’s Donuts’ commercial bakery at Brunswick Landing, where the chance to make their own doughnuts was a hit with Russell Taylor, left, Caragh Beasley, Audrey Beasley, Aoife Beasley and Aidan Beecher. Frosty’s was opened 50 years ago by Bob and June Frost. After June died and closing the business briefly in 2011, Bob Frost sold the iconic business three years ago to Nels Omdal.

Adults got into the Frosty’s celebration, too: Eileen Beasley and Shelly Taylor are caught in the act of creating a selfie, with sprinkles.
