The South Portland Fire Department raised $3,200 for the American Lung Association at the annual Fight for Air Climb in Boston Feb. 1, placing third out of 42 competing teams by racing up 41 flights of stairs in an average time of 9 minutes and 26 seconds. Participating firefighters included, front row, Mike Norton, Matt Cox, Ashley Wax and Ben Guild; back row, Steve Simonson, Kyle Ehlers, Lt. Phil Selberg, Blake Davis, Fred Floberg, Zach Tooker and Tobey Farrington.
