BAR HARBOR — Bar Harbor Bank & Trust recently announced that Michelle Curtis and Colleen Maynard are the recipients of the 2013 Agnes Salisbury Customer Service Award, the bank’s highest employee honor.

The award, established in 1989 in memory of longtime employee Agnes Salisbury, recognizes service in a number of areas: customer service, teamwork, positive attitude, community service, or assuming extra responsibilities above and beyond the call of duty.

Curtis is the branch relationship manager for Topsham and South China. A leader in both the bank and the community, Curtis serves on several committees with the Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber, is a member of Brunswick Rotary and Midcoast Young Professionals, is on the board of the local American Red Cross chapter, and volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters.
