She is the daughter of Vaughn Charles DeForest and the late Heather DeForest.
DeForest is a two-time National French Honor Society and National Honor Society inductee and was a member of Brunswick High School’s winter track team.
She has volunteered with Preble Street Food Kitchen, Sexual Assault Response Services of Southern Maine’s Chocolate Lover’s Fling, Curtis Memorial Library Book Sale, and Relay for Life. She has worked for Tyler Technologies, Sheri Punjab Restaurant, and Dunkin Donuts.
DeForest will attend Buffalo State College, where she will work toward a bachelor’s degree in the science field.
